Parking
Parking for all participants is NOT at the Noordhoek Farm Village. Follow the instructions of the parking marshals to a secure parking area 300m from the start & finish area. Click here for a Google location of the parking area
Registration
Registration & number collection will be at the start/finish area between 06:00 and 07:00.
Route markings & support
The route will be fully marked, but given its a public are its important all participants are familiar with the route before race day. There will be specialise mountain medics and support teams covering the route. There is a single aid-station (and supporter area) at 12.7km, below the Silvermine Dam. This is a supplementary nutritional station and should not be used as your primary nutrition plan.
Compulsory kit
Yes you will be required to carry a standard compulsory kit suitable for this route. This list can be found here
Race Timing
The race will be electronically timed by FinishTime and results live on race day, including a split time at the 12.7km mark. ​
Awards
There will be a special finisher award for every finisher. The winning male and female athlete will have their name cut into the unique Red Earth floating trophy. There will be fantastic category & lucky draw prizes up for grabs.
